NOVA and McHugh Construction partnered to create a state of the art Sports Science Lab for the White Sox. This project presented some significant challenges due to spacial limitations at the ballpark, the short construction timeline in the offseason, and complex technology requirements.

The Lab was built to support markerless motion capture and force plate data for hitters and pitchers. It was constructed within the service tunnel of Guaranteed Rate Field using event production techniques, such as motorized truss and modular systems, to drive down costs and improve construction efficiency.
